Lauren, known professionally as Jillian Lauren Shriner, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after allegedly pointing a handgun at officers.

Incident Details

The LAPD was assisting the California Highway Patrol in searching for three suspects involved in a misdemeanor hit-and-run incident on the 134 Freeway near the Figueroa exit. After the criminals sneaked into a private area in Eagle Rock on foot, there was a huge search. As the cops chased a suspect across a property and into Lauren’s front yard, she had a gun with her. According to reports, Lauren ignored many orders to put down the gun and instead pointed it at the police, which caused them to fire. She was struck in the shoulder, sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and retreated into her home before surrendering to the police.
